Healing, growth, and change. Are you wondering if any of this is actually possible, or if therapy works at all? I had my doubts, too. Maybe you are holding different questions. Can someone really help me overcome my depression or intense anxiety? Am I the only one that feels like this? Is there any hope for our relationship after this betrayal? What's wrong with me/him/her/us? Why can't they just be happy for me? Questions like these are worthy to ask and it takes significant courage to seek the answers. You don’t have to do it alone.
Our work together will examine your story and explore the many ways early formational experiences have impacted your style of relating, management of emotional distress, and understanding of your physical and emotional needs. Throughout this collaborative process, I help you identify maladaptive recurring patterns and teach healthier coping strategies that not only empower you to face the mountains of life with courage and resiliency, but also learn to thrive.
